Geneva University Hospitals (HUG)
Hosted by the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG), the research group EvaLab - as part of the Division of Medical Information Sciences (SIMED) - focuses its efforts in the creation, design and evaluation of health technologies using human factors engineering and user-centered approaches to offer efficient, user-friendly and safe user experiences to patients and health professionals.
A global coordination of international EU research projects (Guardian, H2HCare) has been conducted in the e-health/robotics area through multiple implementations of user experience applications (interviews, methodologies, e-workshops, research analysis reports). Moreover, a redefinition and design implementation of the SIMED corporate website has been achieved, but also a realignment in branding for SIMED’s research groups (EvaLab/Data Science) and content for SIMED (web/corporate materials).
The results obtained are the advancement of EU research projects through UX applications and an increased MarCom experience for the SIMED division and its research groups.
